SERVBO Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account info: name, email, phone, ZIP/county, role (Customer or Pro).
Pro info: business name, service area, verticals, license number, W-9 status, Stripe Connect account ID.
Job content: descriptions, photos, location of the work, scheduled times.
Payment info: handled by Stripe; SERVBO stores only the Stripe IDs and the amounts.
Usage data: device, IP, pages viewed, basic analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use it

To match Customers with Pros, process payments and payouts, calculate platform commission, run automated license checks (Utah DOPL), prevent fraud, send transactional email and SMS, and improve the service.

3. Who we share it with

Other platform users: a Pro you engage sees your name, contact info, address, and job details. Customers see a Pro's business name, ratings, and license status.
Vendors: Stripe (payments), Supabase / Lovable Cloud (hosting), Resend or equivalent (email), Twilio (SMS, if enabled), and OpenAI / Google (job intake AI). Each handles data on our behalf under their own terms.
Government: only as required by law, subpoena, or 1099-NEC tax filings.
We do not sell personal information.

4. Your choices

You can update or delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@servbo.ai. We retain transactional records (jobs, payments, tax forms) for at least 7 years for legal and accounting reasons.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment card data never touches SERVBO servers — it is handled directly by Stripe. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it.

6. Children

SERVBO is not intended for anyone under 18.
