Roofing cost estimator

Photograph the roof from the ground — a couple of corners and the street view is enough. The AI reads squares, pitch, layers, valleys and penetrations, then prices tear-off, underlayment and shingles at Utah rates.

How the estimate works

The AI measures the roof in squares (100 sq ft each), judges pitch and how many layers are already up there, and counts valleys, ridges, chimneys, skylights and vents. Each of those becomes a line item with real labor hours and material cost.

A full re-roof always includes tear-off, underlayment, drip edge and a dumpster. Steep pitch and second-story staging add labor, because they genuinely do.

Roofers on Servbo run this same tool against their own rate card — and can pull roof size and pitch straight from aerial imagery by typing the address, before anyone climbs a ladder.
